I went to Venice for the weekend. It was my first visit there and it was lovely. We went on a gondolar and walked miles round the cobbled streets. There are no cars, vans or bikes. Everything is bought in by boat, the buses are even boats. In St Mark's Square a cup of tea or coffee cost 9 Euro's - ridiculous price.
