It is easy to change the picture in your howrse profile, you can use this method to change the layouts created with the howrseinfo layout generator.
If you are using the howrseinfo layout generator copy the code and paste into your howrse profile ( using the HTML edit mode) then save the presentation. The message "the presentation has been modified" will appear and your howrse profile will be shown.
Click on the modify button, shown by the red arrow here

Then click on the picture you want to change, the picture will now have white boxes around it to show that it has been highlighted. Then click on the "insert a picture" icon ![]() |
This will open up a popup window

Paste the address of the picture you want to use and click ok. The picture needs to be hosted on the internet before you can use it in your howrse layout. Page 2 will explain how to host a picture on the internet so you can put it in your howrse layout.

Then save your presentation to keep your changes.

- PicFindr.com - Searches a collection of public domain-, free stock photo, and photo community sites.
You can easily google for royalty free photos, images and pictures or look for stock photos.
It is always a good idea to save any pictures you are using in your layouts etc to your own computer at home or to get them hosted in the internet yourself. The pictures used on this site are hosted on the howrseinfo server or on tinypic. Sometimes though they may be unavailable or after a few months removed as new pictures are added. So you don't loose your favourite picture keep a copy for yourself.
